National Holidays - Who cares for pet?

I respect that helpers have national holidays off. However, most of the time I go out of town if there is a national holiday. In which case, who can care for my pet if all domestic helpers are on holiday at the same time? How do people handle this? Thank you very much.

there are petsitting services in hong kong that will come to your home.

or, i think it's legal to work out an arrangement with your helper...perhaps giving the option of working during the holiday and giving her/him another day off instead...
