Hi - our Dh has just been with us for 2 months and gave us a months notice today saying she needs to go back for personal reasons. We have already spent a decent amount on her ie - paid her two year levy upfront, gave her a ticket back to the phillipines before she started, doctor expenses. Also were planning to take her with us on vaca in december and applied for her visa.
How does this work. Can we ask her to stay longer (atleast till we get back from vaca since we have made the plans).. can we refuse to sign the release papers (although we wouldnt do that b/c we dont want to keep anyone against their will).
Does she owe us anything or do we just get jipped here.
please advise..
