You've heard from friends that she's hitting your child and you don't know what to do. She should be dismissed straight away.

I am stunned that you are even asking the question. Why would you want to continue to employ someone who hits your child. It doesn't matter how good the rest of her work is, how can you ever leave her alone with your child again. You need to get rid of her immediately.

Pinklet,

If you want your child to be brought up well & in no danger, get rid of this DH immediately. There are so many more DH's who would do a better job with your family.

This one seems like a dangerous woman.

Simple and only answer is to find a new helper. Hard to believe you are even asking for advice on this matter.

Well said John. I am shaking my head in total disbeilef.....you heard this and not confronting her? I cannot think of one possible reason that you are doing this. YOUR friends are a fairly reliable source and you've done nothing. I'd be marching her out the door....TODAY.

And the crying - take it with a pinch of salt. I've been through that too. Amazing, just like a tap.

Mmm, but how did you 'stumble' on a letter? And then accidentally read it?

But anyway, of course she has to go.
