Glad to hear you are resolving your helper issues, Mrs. Miggins! Better luck next time!
It sounds like you have been more than generous, but to be on the safe side I would just give her an extra 200 HKD or so, to help with moving expenses or travel expenses-- and of course be sure to have her sign for everything!

We printed out a form from the labour department which had all of the payments which might apply, it's somewhere on the website. I think I phoned for directions!

Hi Mrs M. Re: the $ equivalent....you are responsible for your helper leaving HK so buy her an airline ticket and photocopy it. Your obligation according to your contract is to send her home. Our ex helper (been there, done that and bought the t-shirt!) was given the cheapest ticket to go home on the last possible date for her in HK (two weeks after the official end date). Save yourself any future hassles. Re: anything else....nup. All the best.
