Since our PDH agreeed to settle all outstanding telephone charges I've decided to give her second chance. Because of her incapability of cooking and my piled -up stress on her, now she is on fd allowance.

She goes out twice a day for telling me "Mom I will go out to the restaurant" 1hour in the afternoon and 1 hour in the evening.

Recently it has come out that she gets food from neighboring Philippina DH twice a day and eats outside. According to our DH she pays her the end of the month ( I didn't ask how much it was).

Suspicion has raised up again.

The neighboring PDH selling hot cooked rice and one dish to our PDH. →Where this stuff come from anyway. →Yes, it comes from her employer's household. →Her employer knows that a part of her monthly groccery expense goes to my PDH?

It's a direct stealing I guess. Should I talk to her employer that her PDH doing business on her household food?

If the neighbor FDH is selling her employers things without their express consent it would clearly be theft.

So then is there no social responsibility to report crime when you witness it?

It is easy to talk to the neighboring PDH's employer asking her " haven't you realised that yr dh's been stealing food from you and selling it to my PDH?"

I'm pretty sure that she'll be fired on the spot.

But you know what Philippina are like. They always come up with plots and revenge.

What I 'm afraid is she might do someehing on my child while I am away.

Better solution is to ask my PDH to stop buying from her and to make her realise that she incirectly gets in involed in criminal act, I guess.

Sukiyaki next time you comment please watch your words as not all filipina could be discribe in that way,my helper is very good to my children,to my household, also my all my friends FDH are the same they very good to children and my friend are happy to thier FDH.

Back to the mean thread,it would be better to talk to that FDH whose giving food to your helper if you had a chance to meet her outside.Maybe shes also a food allowance and you r helper was just sharing or why not talked to them both.Communication is the best way for both employee and employer to make the things work out.

According to my helper, the neighbouring helper sells foods w/out her employers consent and earns $500 per each/ month.

Surprisingly she sells the foods to 3 helpers. HKD1500 into her pocket every month behind her employers back.

I know there should be social responsibility to report to her employer but I've deceided not to. Also I've asked my dh to stop buying from her.

Seemes to me she understands that her friend is not doing right things. I'll continue to hire my dh because she is nice to my child and does house works very well except for cooking.

Miming, I agree w/ you and I went too far regarding my comment on Philippina. I didn't mean all of them are bad, however I think it is important to be vigilant since so many nagative issues

are being reported not only here but also among employers I know whether you agree or not.

How can the employer not notice that the food is disappearing at such a rate???? Or do they have so much money they wouldn't notice? Maybe the DH is buying the ingredients herself and selling on the food and service as a legitimate way of making money? Possible - I mean she does have $3,200 to herself each month, not like she has anything.
