We are pretty happy with our recent hire (2 months now) helper from Sri Lanka. As a reward and for our benefit we wanted to find some training classes for her... anyone know of any groups doing training in Sri Lanakan Language?

Glad your DH is working out. If your DH knows any other S Lankan who needs a job, pls let me know. I too am looking for a helper & would prefer a SL or Nepalese.

Not specifically in Tamil (if that's her language), but how's her English? Several options available in English, and my recommendation would be those run by the YWCA. You can check their website for the courses - content, dates, cost etc.

Lucky you I too am looking for sri lankan or nepali DH as am fed up with the philipino ones Ive had so far

I can recommend a very good Sri Lankan helper though she have only a year of experience here in HK and she is a victim of a very bad and rude employer.

Most DH's almost 95% are Singhalese, so I am not sure Tamil classes would help...However i know of sri lanmkan social groups my SL DH attends on sunday...I am sure they could advise.
