What are the requirements for flights home and back for your helper. Do you legally have to pay for your helper to go home in the middle of a contract, or do you just pay for the flight home at the end of the contract?

You are legally required to buy her one return ticket per contract, i.e. to get to HK to start work, and to get home when the contract finishes,you are not obliged to pay for any trips home in between.

but if you hired her in Hk and she did not go home in between contracts then she has to return home with 1 year. to be honest flight to the Phillipines are so cheap with Cebu pacific that it shouldn't be a real issue. Obvioulsy if you have a sri lankan then its different.

I was also told one return ticket per contract. Her ticket to HK when she starts work and her ticket home after she finishes her contract. In mid-contract if she wants to go home, she pays for it. But if you give it to her as a gift, like I did, then I paid for it.
