I tried a potential DH out and she didnt show up after two days, just wouldnt pick up the phone, no response. I find it to be highly unprofessional but am glad I got to find out before signing her contract.

Yes, unprofessional, but remember that a trial works both ways. If she decides she doesn't want ot work for you it's better that you find out at the start.

Maybe she has found another employer. That's the problem with maids that are here in HK, they can register in as many agencies as they like and as you choose your maid, they choose their employers, too. It's a good thing you found out earlier. Imagine how it would be if she backed out after you've submitted your employment contract with the immigration. With all the fees paid, you'd be more upset than ever. So, cheer up and Good Luck in your DH hunting.
