I would like to offer her a book this year for Xmas since we're going back home for Xmas and she's staying here, she'll have plenty of time to read.
But I don't know what to choose:
she's in her 50s, and very religious, I know she likes reading my gossip magasines, so I am thinking about something girly and entertaining, but I don't to shock her either.
Anyone has a title to suggest ?

Give her a voucher so she can choose herself. Or better still, give her some phonecards so she can chat to her family - my previous helper already had a library membership so she could read for free.
