Advice re stay after end of employment contract

Need some advice - would like know whether upon completion of an employment contract, will the maid be entitled to a 2 week grace period (like for a terminated maid)before leaving HK or does she have to leave HK once her contract is completed? Thx in advance

That's right. It's the date on the visa stamped in her passport that counts, and (like green said) she could request a 14-day extension on the basis that she is securing another contract (regardless of whether she is or not) and it would normally be granted.

Sorry folks - I'm still a bit confused. So when you say the visa, do you mean her employment visa (i.e. the one with "Employment until DATE") or her entry visa (the one stating her limit of stay in HK).
