Tung Chung Boarding house

TC has no Boarding House but some of the helpers travel to Discovery Bay

Hi jojo67, there is a boarding house in Tung Chung where some of the domestic helpers stay but they are full at the moment. The other option is Discovery Bay as Yogini said in the above post. There are a number of boarding houses to choose from over there but as far as I know they all require you to pay one months rest upfront and then another month from the time your d/h moves in. This works fine if your domestic helper is live-out but not what you are looking for as a part time option. Sorry I can't help at the moment. Try asking your domestic helper to see what she can find out. Apparently there are a couple of options in Tung Chung but they are not legal (people renting oin Yat Tung and then accepting boarders). Maybe your domestic helper could get some information by asking where the people who work at Disney stay??
