Are we responsible for dental costs for our maid? She has dentures and they are broken so are we meant to pay for them to be fixed? I may add that when I asked her before taking insurance out for her whether she had any ailments etc etc that I may need to include on the insurance she said no!
Thanks

Check with your insurance, as they may cover around 200 or 250 per dental visit.
Also do a search on this site for reasonably priced dentists popular with domestic helpers.

Thanks, they dont cover undeclared conditions! Which leads me back to my first question do I have to pay?

Personally, I pay for medical expenses for our helper, but it really depends upon what arrangement you made with her and how much it costs.

One month after my helper arrived she told me that she has dentures and they are broken. An insurance company will not pay for this. Without insurance it costs a lot. I approached my DH agent who told me that I have to pay only for emergency dental work: fillings, tooth extractions. I do not need to buy her new dentures as it is something she should do in her home country.
