airfare to COO for new and terminated contracts?

I had a friend tell me that I am NOT responsible for paying my previous DH's airfare home (she resigned) or my new DH's airfare to HK to come & work for us. Is this true?

On a similar topic, when a DH resigns & does not work out her 30 day notice, I am responsible for paying her ONLY for her days worked. Correct? Someone told me that SHE actually owed ME money "in leiu of notice". Is this true?

Even if she resigned, you still owe her a ticket. I don't know about a new DH as mine came through an agency. And yes, she owes you 1 month salary "in leiu of notice" if she refuses to work the month.
