Is is possible to find a domestic helper who speaks Mandarin as their mother tongue? This way my child could be exposed to the language.

The Labour Dept maintains a database of local people available to work as domestic helpers. You/they could search on the language capabilities.

That's always an alternative, but not the 'mother tongue' as requested. The advantage of the mother tongue bit is that use of the language is second nature.
