Besides, sending a DH to a GP, can anybody recommend a competitively priced medical centre that focuses primarily on DH medical examinations? We are located on HK Island and are new arrivals.

Ask your DH insurance company, they can suggest someone - if you don't have DH insurance, you can get it through:
HSBC, Kwiksure, AIA, etc...
The medical exam is around 700 -850.
