My friend just told me her friend's former DH is very sickening! (this is not urban legend! I heard her on the phone with her friend)
Her friend has a 3 years old, this morning, he saw his father changed. The kid asked his father, "how come you have hair under arm?", the kid then said he saw hair on the DH before, but it's not the under-arm area! (but THERE, sorry that I am too disgusted to spell out everything!!!)

This DH left this household 2 months ago, as the lady of the house found out this DH had some sex toys. But she never connect the dots or even doubt that this DH might do something to her kid.
Anyhow, I am expecting w/ a boy too, and I have a DH.
What can I do to prevent such thing to happen?
What to watch out?
Can I give out warning or even terminate the DH if i found out she has sex toys? If so, but on what base though?
Anyone knows any good child psychotherapist for this poor 3 years old? His father didn't dare to ask this 3 years more questions regarding the subject matter (as it's best left to the professional to handle this).
Any thought?

My hubby and I have some sex toys hidden in the safe box… Are we “sickening” too?
Did the kid in fact talk about the sex toys? Are you sure he saw them? Just a thought… may be the kid had peeped when she was having a shower or changing and saw the hairy thing. Sex toys don’t prove anything.
Note: I don't usually defend helpers on this site but this time the situation really doesn't make sense to me. Unless there is more info that you didn't write about.

Has the child been examined by a doctor? How is the childs behaviour, has it changed dramatically.
While what you are saying is very serious and shouldn't be ignored could your friend have jumped to the wrong conclusion.
I wouldn't assume the DH used the sex toys on the child, she may have an active sex life.
As for the child having seen the helpers pubic hair is it possible the child had to share a public toilet cubicle when out? To be fair I always took my toddlers into the loo with me as it was be safer, I wouldn't have a problem if my helper did the same.
What you have said is very serious and I would hope legal action taken should the parents have adequate proof.
So far from the information you have given I don't think it is enough proof or evidence to indicate anything has happened.

Well, in no means having sex toys is sickening, i believe it's personal choice. but in this case, is this some kind of indication? should the parents be alerted?
I think I left out one very important fact: the kid told his father the DH asked him to touch THERE gently. That's why I am disgusted!

This is not the place for such an accusation; if I thought my child had been molested by anyone I would call the police immediately no questions asked. What are the parents doing about it?

I believe the mother is seeking from help a nurse or doc, as she is afraid by asking more questions, the 3 years old will freak out and won't be able to erase whatever happened. I dont think it occured to them to call the police, as they dont want their son to be put in court or any situation like that.
But my friend is going to call up every DH agency in HK to tell the agency not to bring this DH into HK again. And, my friend is going to put this DH's name and information on blogs or forums (by the way, is that legal to do so?)

You can’t just decide that this DH is guilty of such a serious thing based on a comment from a 3 year old. They must report it too the police and let them deal with it if they want something done as if they set about ruining the DH’S name and reputation without proof she could take legal action against them. No police force or court is going to be insensitive to how young this child is and I dare say it would be a child psychiatrist who would gently talk to the child anyway.
They need to act now if they are sure something happened

I had similar trouble with a DH when my children were 4 and 5 years old.
I found out when we fired her, cause my daughter had been to scared to tell me when she was working for us. Called the police had her arrested. she got a great lawyer who brow beat my daughter during testimony ( beleive it or not) so my daughter cried and the judge removed her from the case and the Maid went free and clear.
Unless the abuse is very physical good luck .
The lawyer asked very tricky questions that mixed up a stressed 5 year old.
