Does the helper have to go to Consulate or something for a last time exit visa.

We are taking our helper to Singapore. She will be in the Phils on hols then fly back to Hong Kong for a day and then fly to Singapore. Does she have to go into the consulate to end her visa properly or can she just go straight to Singapore.

The reason we want to do it this way is that we do not want to terminate her contract here while we are on vacation since she may not get approved in Singapore and we would like her to be able to come back here to a new employer straight away rather than have to go through agencies form the Phils. It's only a small chance she wont get approved but would hate to put her though that.

The HK contract has no dependency on Singapore. he rules are that you need to give your helper the one-month's notice and inform Immigration within 7 days of the effective date. The next time she enters HK the Immigration officer will note that her contract has been cancelled and she will need to enter on a tourist visa.
