STOP RACISM!!!

Once again racism raises its ugly head on these forums... and results in a deleted comment.


If a helper from a country steals from an employer does that mean that all helpers from that country are thieves and should be under immediate suspicion???? Or is is only if the person is from a third world country that we assume this????


FYI - we just had a police report from a member who had a European show up to buy something from the trading post and a theft apparently occurred in which the police were called in.


So should we post a warning, or allow a warning to be posted, to 'watch out for all people from this European country?'


Generalizations about people of a race are dangerous. There are good and bad, smart and stupid, honest and dishonest people from every single race in the world. If you must judge please judge people on their own merits (or lack of) but please do NOT assume that all people from a race share the same traits. Because that is absolute nonsense.


Racism at the lowest levels is hurtful to people. Racism, when held by those in power results in death camps.
