helper about to resign what can i do first?

i am pretty sure my helper is about to resign is there anything i can do first to protect myself or is it a pretty straight forward process? many thanks

i just want to know what i am expected to pay, also she has been with us about 6 months but we have given her a 3 week holiday in august back to the phillipines does this holiday money come out of her final salary?

Who asked for the holiday? Was it a paid or unpaid?


You have to give her a one way ticket and a 7 days annual leave ( 6 months=3.5 days)That is, assuming that the holiday taken last August was your choice. Otherwise, yes it could come out from her final salary.

it was paid holiday we were going back to uk anyway so she went home?
