i have found a suitable DH, but she was terminated by her last employer ( xyz reason). so she advice me that until she go bk to philipines she cannot sign another contract. is this true or she does not want to sign contract at all? and just wants to work part time w me . actually i like her to work for me as full time helper. pls help me clarify my doublts. thanks

she doesn't have to go back to philipines.she can go to china or macau(must leave hk after termination) until she gets working visa.still you have to wait about 3 weeks.

PPK, I am not sure if the rules are different for breaking contract vs. termination. I recently signed on with a DH who broke her contract with the previous employer. We signed the contract a week before her last day at work to start the filing process.
