Our newly hired live-in DH has asked us if she could take off on Saturday nights and sleep out. I don't really feel comfortable with that idea.
Does anyone have experienced this kind of situation? What is a reasonable solution? I don't want to be controlling but since we still trying to get to know her.

We had a DH that wanted Saturday nights out to go to the NT to visit sister, since we fired her for theft we have found out that she went to Wanchai for something completly different!!!
We let her go on Saturday nights as we quite enjoyed this time to ourselves and we thought that this was a sign of trust. We paid the price and gave her too much trust and lost quite a bit of money.
Go with your instincts and get to know her better before you do anything, trust is everything and it really has to be earned.

Technically speaking, DHs get one day (24 hours) off. My helper chooses not to take 24 hours off but I know others who actually claim their legal rights.
