what is the going rate ?

I will be moving to a new place - 2 bed room 700sq ft, village apt.


The landlord's maid dropped by asking if I would like her to clean my place & wash my cloths. the landlord had no objections to this arrangement.


I think I would like to have my laundry done weekly or as when I need to, as with current practice. I would like to pay her about what i spend monthly average on my laundry (about HK$160 - 200/mth)


Cleaning the house, I dun mind this additional help as I had been doing it myself in this past year. She asked if i liked it twice a week or once a week. I am a tidy person and am staying alone, with the occassional guest / visitiors


I have no idea what is the going rate ?

But would this include the laundry portion or just the house cleaning ?


also, is there any kind of house cleaning task that would result in the DH asking for extra $$ ? I have no kids / animals in-house.
