I cannot believe I did this, but somehow I forgot to make a levy payment for my DH. I am 3 months late with the payment, and just sent off an apology letter and the cheque.
Does anyone know what/if any the repercussions are for making a late levy payment?

Gosh I always forget too, but they normally send a reminder and thats when I pay it!!! I am really surprised that you have not heard from them so hopefully they will just accept the cheque and do nothing!

Raaaa I'm in the same situation, I was due to pay the 6 of january but I didnt receive any reminder from the government and as my 2 kids and me have been sick for a month (#^*&#*& weather!) I completly forgot ! Thank you for putting than back on my mind !!!!!!

We had a final reminder last week! It says clearly on the back that - they change the right to pay by installments to the full 2 year amount and chase you for the full debt.

the first time my helper came, I gave her a copy of the levy payments, then I asked her to remind me and I always ask her to go pay, in that case I never forget.
if you are late with the payment I think immig will ask you to pay the full 2 years levy.

its a legal obligation I know, but I also want her to know that while she is working for me, I pay for her levy tax, a money which is deducted from her suppose to be HK$3670 salary.
