I have used the services here and they are fine. We originally found a helper via this site who we processed ourselves - but there were problems and the contract was never started. We then paid for the services here, because we didn't want to run around again, and they filtered the helpers, sorted all the paperwork, done the running around for consulate and visa and kept us up to date at all times. So overall I am happy with the service here and compared to some of the little back street outfits that are out there you know the helpers aren't being fleeced as well.

If you use our agency services the cost is 2k (cheaper than other agencies - and we charge helpers 0 if we place them).
If you contact the helpers directly the cost is 200

Hi Ed,
Under option 2 of your agency services agreement, it says we are allowed up to 20 interviews... my question is a lot of the times the helpers do not actually turn up for the interview, what happens in this case? are they included in the 20?
Also what happens when we want to hire a helper but they do not want to sign with me and I have to search all over again.
I am asking this as i have offered a job to a few helpers and they have rejected the offer.
They seem to "shop around" (which i understand) but when they see the employer has a smaller house, will not get their own room, not their preferred nationality etc, they do not want to sign, so if i am restricted to 20 it may not be worth it for me.
Just want to clarify. Thanks

A question I asked previously to Evelyn, and no if helpers do not turn up then they are not counted, in fact they are blacklisted.

Blacklisted how? Are they taken off the site?

And fair enough, a helper not wanting a job without a room to herself - I certainly wouldn't either.

We do not take helpers ads off the site because they have paid to post them there.
And to be fair to all the expats posting ads on our site, we will be launching a new careers site and there will be a section for bankers, lawyers, accountants, teachers and other expats to post their CV's - if they dont show up for a job interview we will not remove their CV from the site either.

kahli,
Just as an employer has the right to shop around for the employee that suits them best, so does the employee. A good candidate is desireable to many employers at once and has that luxury. If you want to attract a DH to your standards you would have to offer them conditions and remuneration to their standards. You can't blame them for going for a better job just as you can't be blamed for chosing a better qualified DH over another.

I understand a DH would choose the best deal. My question is regarding the Asiaexpat agency service that limits the number of interviews to 20 candidates. I was wondering what happens if i offer the job to a number of DH that all reject me, then would i have to pay another $2000 to start all over again.

hi kahli, with regards to your question, only helpers who were interviewed are included in the 20. Helpers who are are not turning up for interviews are beyond agency's control. If they do so, they will not be introduced for other interviews anymore. They are not taken out from the list. They have the right to choose a better offer.

Hi kahli, after interviewing 20 helpers and no one is willing to sign and you still want to use our service, then you have to pay HK500 for the next 10 interviews thereafter
