Payments due to helper on termination

I am also sort of in the same situation. I fired my helper last month giving her one month notice. When you fire her, all you need to do is give her the "Notice of Employment contract Termination" and have her sign it. If you need the form, I can e-mail it to you.


1.Severance Pay: I don't think so.

2.Paid Leave: They are entitled for 7 day paid annual leave. So if she worked 8 months, you should give her 5 days.

3.Air ticket: yes, you can either buy her a ticket to go back or give her the money to buy the ticket herself. Also you need to pay for her transportation to point of origin. You need to have a receipt of payment from your helper. If you need this form, let me know. I can e-mail it to you.



4.Levy: yes, it will be transferred to your next helper. You just need to make an indication on one of the forms you need to fill out for your new helper. If you don't want to hire another helper, I think you would only get the partial installment back. I know exactly how much though.
