Hi, can anyone recommend a good contact in a good agency? I'm primarily looking for Filipino helpers. A few of the agencies I called did not call back or had very limited supply of helpers.

if you are hiring someone who is already in hongkong, then asiaxpat is a good source for you, but if you are hiring someone from Philippines(new comer)then try Emry's I heard they have a lot of filipino applicants.

You can hire a helper without an agency here http://hongkong.asiaxpat.com/helpers/
If you prefer agency assistance I suggest you call Evelyn in our office - we charge less than any other agency in town (2k to the employer and ZERO to the helper).
FYI: most agencies will charge you more and they will simply go to our site to find candidates because we have the biggest pool of helpers anywhere in HK (up to 800 new signups each month). The outside agents have no contact with these helpers - all they do is browse our ads as you would - Evelyn and the ladies in our office speak to all these ladies when they sign up so she is far more able to match you with the most appropriate candidates.

I too am looking to hire a DH by the simplest means possible. I have signed up to see the DH with tel numbers on your site and am also interested in using AsiaExpat as agency to complete the DH paperwork. However, despite having downloaded your T&C I am still not really clear whether the 2K covers all DH related paperwork or whether I will end up doing the paperwork myself. Please could you try to clarify for me or point me in the right direction. Thanks
