how to hire a DH who left previous employer after 6 months?

I may be interested in hiring an Indonesian DH who left a previous employer after 6 months. This means that the contract was broken.


What is possibly involved in hiring her? Does she have to return to her home country? Can she go to Macau? How long might this take?


I assume that I start all over as a new employer and--

a) I have to get medical insurance

b) I must process her HK visa -- she can simply go to Macau? Does she have to return to her home country?

c) I pay pay consulate fee of her home country

d) I pay tax--helper's levy


Any assistance would be appreciated.

Pretty much the same as hiring anyone else.

She only has to leave HK. Macau is fine, as is Shenzen.

Typically 8-12 weeks in total.

The simplest thing is to get an agency to take care of all the red tape. Second easiest is to call immigrations and ask them.
