Termination Fee

We are relocation to Taiwan and want to take our helper with us. She has mentioned that we need to pay a 'termination / seperation fee' of about 2/3 of the monthly salary. I have checked a few websites and can't find any reference to this fee. Can anyone advice if there is any such fee?
