if it's your first trim processing/hiring a DH, best to use an agency esp she's a terminated one..... lot more complicated. Not impossible, just saves you alot of time and headache to use an agency. You don't save much money doing it your own because most agencies now include the airfare, the documents fees, and the running around and lining up, and the visa, and best of all, a good agency will follow up the file in HK and have agent in Philippines to ensure all is alright.

Just my opinion.

Agreed with Katetam, using a good agency will decrease the hassle. With our agency all we had to do was pay and sign a couple times. They did all the legwork.

Our agency charged just under 4000 for everything I think. That included the medical costs.

Sent you a recommendation by PM.

Agreed, we also used an agency. Watching other people do it themselves was painful, one little mistake on the forms and you have to start the whole process again. Worth the extra money for peace of mind that it's done right first time. Not to mention the running around you will save yourself.

Hello axptguy38,

WOuld you be able to pm me the recommnedation of the agency you have used? Did you find your helper through there as well or did you just use them to process the paperwork? Thanks so much already.

simonek. I have sent you a PM.

We found our helper there. So did one of our neighbors. I know two is not a very big sample size but both have worked out very well. We went there on a Sunday and interviewed assembly line style.
