Mid Autumn Festival

Mid Autumn Festival falls on a Sunday and the helper hols list from the Government said they get a holiday on the day following the Mid Autumn Festival - just to double check I guess this means they get Sunday and Monday off. Is this correct?


If I ask her to work the Sunday I need to pay her right?

Thanks Peggie. I do offer my helper an alternative day or some money and she usually goes for the money.


My reason for asking about the Sunday was last year we had such a wonderful Mid Autumn festival with a large group of parents and children with their lanterns and we each cooked a dish and had a big outside get together. It was great having helpers around to be an extra pair of eyes watching our little ones run around with their lanterns in the dark. I shall see what everyone thinks about organising it again this year.
