Advance Contract Renewal - need to notify Immig of termination?

Hi,


I am in the midst of doing an advance Contract Renewal for my DH. Do we need to notify the Immigration department online within 7 days of the termination, or do we just need to submit the papers to the Philippine Consulate and the Immigration Department for the visa extension?


Since the process is taking so long now, by the time the Visa Extension will be submitted to the Immigration Department, it will be about 11 days from the termination date/advance renewal date - since it is not within 7 days, will there be a problem?

I am slightly confused about your dates of termination and renewal.

According to my info, this is really based on the time you would normally be paying your next levy payment. So you already know that date right?

So, you need to take your old and new set of contractcs plus etc. to the Phill Cons first ($297.50), after they finish you go to IMD and submit all contracts plus other supporting doc required (this step does not require any supporting financial standing docs) and then IMD will grant/stamp the DH's passport with the new visa immediately ($160). So the 7 and 11 days you mentioned confusing to me. If there is somehow a problem as you mentioned , you will hear about it from the relevant officer who is processing your case.
