Steal?
We recently had a visitor from the UK. He's told us that the domestic helper that we thought was perfect (she's been with us for 3 months) isn't that wonderful afterall.
He's lost GBP120 while in our home. The first time he thought that perhaps it had been nicked while shopping in MK or SZ. But the second time, he counted the money in his money bag and left it just before we went out for drinks and came home and found GBP40 missing.
I'm a little confused and lost as I've confronted the helper and she's insisted that she has not touched the money.
Should I just let this one slide, give her a warning and if she strikes again, fire her? Or should I just let her go now?

Be logical, if there was no one else in your home at the time the money went missing, who else could possibly have taken it? Your visitor is GBP160 down ... and you're still questioning whether or not you should just let this one slide? If I were you she'd be out without a second chance.
