shopping and points?

i'm interested to find out what other people do with points when their helpers do the supermarket shopping?

my helpers don't have food allowance, they eat what we do, or cook something different if they prefer. we spend a lot each week at the supermarket but i'm not getting any discounts via points.

i would like to 'reclaim' the points and would really appreciate some tips on how to do this.

thanks!

our helper as set up her own account for points.... she is a preferred customer at taste and gets sent mail as one of their best clients with special offers and invitations to events!

Since you spend the money, they are your points. However you may give the points as a perk. Up to you. I would lean towards keeping them for yourself.

If you're talking the PNS/Taste points then you get 3 cards when you sign up for the scheme, so you should have one and your helper for the same account. If you send her to do the shopping for you with your money, then the points are yours.

Taking your points is the same as taking your money. Why would you need to "reclaim" your own money?

Explain to your helper that these are your points and that they are not supposed to redeem them for their own use unless you give the go ahead.
