End of Contract

Although we asked our helper if she would like to renew her contract for a further two years (after first two with us) she declined and says she has applied to move to Canada. Whilst we respect her decision I would like to know if we have to provide her with air fare back to Philippines ? We have given her two weeks paid holiday last year when she went home to see a doctor and we gave her airfare too.


Whilst we were happy to do this at the time it was sort of assumed by us (wrongly as it turned out) that it was a surety she would sign another two years.


I don't want to ask immigration just yet as we need her to stay until we find a replacement .... any advice please.
