Savings on Flights to Manilla

I have just purchased a ticket home for my helper. I went to a travel agent in World Wide House and was quoted $1,100 for a ticket on Air Cebu - Hong Kong Manilla and then a domestic flight inside Philipines.


I went online and was quoted $800.00 total for the same two flights, but the website kept crashing on my credit card.


I went to the Air Cebu office, Mirror Building, Mody Road TST - lined up as there were quite a few people there and, half an hour later the SAME two flights cost me, wait for it, $600.00 TOTAL.


That was almost half price from world wide house and Air Cebu is a lot cheaper than Air Philipines. I was told that travel agents in World Wide House can load the price of a ticket and give cash back to the domestic helper when they go into pay.


Anyway, thought I would share - as $600.00 is a huge saving.
