I'd like to sign my helper up for a course about basic finance/ saving. She talks about wanting to save more money so she can return to the Philippines in a few years, but I don't think she has a sense for how to do this. Has anyone sent their helper on a course to help them understand the basics of finance/ saving? I'd appreciate details about who ran the courses, and whether your helpers found the courses helpful.
Thanks.

That link was actually to a page about employing a domestic helper. We've already had our helper with us for 2.5 years, and I want to sign her up for a course to help her understand more about budgeting/ finance for her own personal development. I thought the YMCA ran these types of courses, but I haven't been able to find anything on their website.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

Bayanihan Trust works with Enrich group and used to hold workshop called Good Habits with Money and Confidence and Communication. With the Good Habits with Money in an all afternoon workshop you are taught how to manage your money etc. Then there's a follow up workshop 4 -8 weeks later to find out if you were able to apply what you have learned.
For more info, visit their website ( my info's a year old, I'm afraid) www.enrichhk.org or call +852- 22724597.
The Philippine Bankers' Association also holds seminars to any group who would like to find out how to make their money work for them. Being a helper, I know it's not that easy but IS possible.
And if you're really cool, maybe advice your helper that now is ( still) a good time to get in the stock market ( with caution!)
