We are renewing our contract with our FDH and she is going back home for a holiday in Dec. She has already taken her 2 weeks paid annual leave when she went back mid contract. We propose to give her 1 weeks paid vacation leave as a bonus (i.e. over an above the 2 weeks she has already taken). Aside from her requesting an "advance" on her annual leave under her second contract, is she entitled to any other paid leave (e.g. payment for the sundays in the period that she will be on holiday, statutory holidays in the period that she will be on holiday). I want to work out what her total paid leave entitlement is.
Many thanks

She gets one week of paid leave a year. I don't think it is spelled out in the law but since the working day for helpers is 6 days I read one week of leave to mean six days. If there's a statutory holiday in the middle, she gets one more day off, just like any other employee.
She is entitled to payment on the Sundays while she is off just as she is for the Sundays while she is not on leave.

She gets 7 days annual leave per year of the first contract, plus statutory holidays, this goes up to 8 days per year for the 2nd contract.

cd is correct. My mistake. I checked the Immigration Dept website. It's 7 days and goes up to 14 days according to length of service.
There is a table here http://www.labour.gov.hk/eng/public/wcp/FDHguide.pdf . Section 4.9.
