I am looking for a driver, either from Philippines, India or Nepal. Who can tell me a good agent, it seems quite difficult to find them at the moment.

Our helper's husband, who has been a driver in the Middle East for several years and recently finished his contract, is coming here to look for a job in a month or two. He is a really nice guy and we would gladly hire him if we needed a driver.


Note that he will need to take his HK driver's license first but with his attitude and experience I don't see that taking too long.

I have recently hired a driver listed on this website. Why look elsewhere? Try to browse the Domestic Help Section of this site.


Another personal opinion: I think it is important to find someone who has already been driving in Hong Kong for some time and knows the roads well. There is a big difference.

In a perfect world, of course you'd take someone with experience in Hong Kong. But since there is a shortage that may not always be an option.
