Can I hire a Domestic Help without going to an Employment Agency???

We are planing to hire a domestic helper who was referred by another helper who works at our friends place. We infact applier for her initial visa thru an employment agency and got her hkg visa done but her pregnancy was confirmed just two days before she was about to leave for HKG from Manila.


We told her to deliver the baby and join us after some time. It's about 6-7months since she delivered and she is now willing to join.


My question is Do we again have to go through an employment agency to get her HKG visa done or Can we apply directly with the immigration since her application was recently processed/approved by the HK Immigration?? Thanks people....

Thanks Cara, she is not in HK. Do you mean if we find a help who finished/about to finish contract in HKG can be hired directly by applying with the Immigration??
