I am trying to fill out the immigration forms to hire a full-time helper. The helper has been working in Hong Kong already.
What exactly is required for this helper testimony? Who writes it? It's to show they have already been working as domestic helper for 2 years ... but surely not all helpers are in that category anyway. You must start somewhere right??
I am not sure, but is the testomony the letter you have to write to state reasons for wanting a helper, eg. wife needs help with houework and children, or single guy needs help with housework and walking the dog etc! my husband had to write something similar before we got our helper. Maybe some other post can help clarify this.
Ring up Immigration Dept. I don't believe that it refers to your cover letter asking to employ a helper, I believe it is something the helper needs to prepare showing her experience and CV.
Thanks for the help. I've further read the quick guide to recruiting helpers and I think helpers who have never been to hong kong before need to provide this testimony before their first visa is accepted.
