To those who have applied a visa for domestic helper before -
Have you submitted any document to URSSAF in France? Or we just need to submit document (form, letter, passport copy, sworn affidavit) to DDTEFP only?
As per the instruction from French Consulate, we need to obtain something from both departments before the application submission in HK French Consulate. However, I am not sure what are the items we need to send to URSSAF. Could you please help?

Do you have a bank account in France ? If so, the easiest way is to ask them for "cheque emploi service" that will automatically give you an URSSAF number (even if you don't use these cheques).
If you don't have a bank account, then the 1st step is to contact the URSSAF to get a number from them (good luck !) and only once you have this number you can send the documents to the DDTEFP.
Then once you have this done, you can submit all the required papers from the DDTEFP to the french consulate. They are very picky there so make sure you have ALL the documents for the visa.
We did it a few years ago and it took me a bit more than 3 months to have everything (and someone was helping me from France too). But I heard that now it's quicker.

Thank you so much! By the way, as per the French Consulate website, it says we need to provide them with a mail from URSSAF. Did URSSAF send you the no. through mail? If that's the case, do you remember if there was any document you sent them in order to get the no.? Or simply a letter describing the situation would be fine?

I can't help you on this as we got the URSSAF number via our bank (with the "cheque emploi service", the easiest and quickest way to get a number, I think it took us 24 hours !).
