Hiring Helpher being non-resident

Dear All,


I am not a permanent resident of HK, working here on a working visa. I just want to get your suggestion either i can hire a domestic helper for full time of i should go for a part time helper. Now question is that part time helpers are legal or not?

By the way i think no one here from Police lols i have seen many out there......someone suggested me to have part time as well.


What about hiring full time being non-resident any suggestion please?

You can hire a helper on a working visa so long as you have an HKID (and are not a helper yourself).

A part time live-out helper is legal if the helper is a resident or citizen of HK. For a "Foreign Domestic Helper", she must live-in and be full time.
