Hi - relocating to Singapore and helper is not comng as waiting on entry to Canada. We are leaving on the 7th August but I wish for my helper to remain under contract until the 31st August to look after my dog before she is sent over. Can I do this? I have emailed HK immigration and got a completely unrelated answer back.

Can I simply advise HK Immigration that I will terminate her on the 31st Aug and leave it at that. My helper is worried that if I do this she may get intro trouble as they can find out when we left the country. I don't want to cause her any problems so hence this thread! She would be staying in our house until the 31st Aug anyway as rent is paid until then.

Just make sure that YOU have a visa until August 31st at least.
