Due to a change of family circumstance we have to terminate the contract of our Filipino driver.
Can anybody offer advice on what steps to take?

- Give a month's notice. Choose whether he should leave at once, in a month, or somewhere in between.
- Pay any wages due including any long service payments. Make sure you include any accrued vacation in the calculation.
- Pay for door-to-door trip home (not just airfare).
- On the last day, send a letter to Immigration Department saying you have terminated him due to changed family circumstance.
