I am sorry to hear you have a problem, I don't think you will be able to insure your helper now, as she has a pre exsisting condition you now know about you would have to declare it.
Did you write in your contract subject to medical? because if you did then you can terminate the helper easily.
If she goes to a public hospital for further investigation, you would still have to pay the bills for any treatment, and tests might prove she is not physically fit to work as a helper.
Perhaps email immigration, and tell them of the problem.

Email Immigration and ask them, how long have you had her for? in the first few months I think you can terminate them anyway.

Yes, I would try the public hospital route, it could be something and nothing!,but if the x-ray shows an enlarged heart for instance, it may indicate underlying heart disease, which usually requires electrocardiogram to make further diagnosis.
Are you sure she wasn't aware of any problem before? your older post in early July, says she comes from SL, wouldn't she have come into HK as a new employee via an agency originaly? on her very first contract, they usually do medicals routinely
Also still email IMM to let them know of the situation this early in the contract and their advice for the future with this helper.
If it turns out the heart problem, when dianosed properly could effect the work she is employed for then she may be unsuitable to work at all, as it is obviosly something she has had before you employed her, and you should not be liable for.

Yes I agree too much of a risk, if you can't get insurance, and from her point of veiw, it could be one of those heart conditions which worsen, I hope not, but she cannot work and jeapordise her life at the worst.
I think you have to have a referal from a local Dr to see a specialist at the public hospital, the agency which did the medical does ECG's 300hkd, and echocardiograms 1,700 hkd. but even if you decide to do that and they found problems needing further investigation or treatment, you would still need to see a cardiologist. I still would email Imm you don't have to state her name or nationality, do it as an enquirie, and tell them how long you have had her and that you only just had the medical done etc etc, and ask advice on what to do as you can't insure her

Hi, I don't know if this bit of info will help, it is on the FDH"S contract,
c) In the event of a medical practitioner certifying that the Helper is unfit for further service, the Employer may subject to the statutory provisions of the relevant Ordinances terminate the employment and shall immediately take steps to repatriate the Helper to his/her* place of origin in accordance with Clause 7.
If after you have had more medical advise, this clause may help you, but I think you would need a signed Drs certificate.
