I found a domestic helper throw expat website and wiling to hire her,today she asked for my helper s number( i suppose she want to ask her about me)

and asking to have internet in her room.

is it normal??

Well, it's not abnormal. Like any employee looking for a job, a helper can and will seek information about her prospective employer.

Your choice whether to give Internet in the room. Access to your wireless network (if you have one) should be enough in any case.
