Hi this has probably been done too death.

But is there anywhere I can find information on what is required to Hire a D.H?

ie wages,entitlements,insurance ,are there forms that can be downloaded etc etc.

We have a helper in mind but they are finishing with there present employer in a couple of months.

any feedback wluld be greatly appreciated.

If it's your first time, I would highly recommend retaining a (good) agency. They can handle all the paperwork. The few thousand you will spend are well worth it.


There is also a book called "Hiring and Managing Domestic Help" which can be very useful. Among other things, it details the various costs for having a helper.
