my employer give me 1 month notice,from agency where she hired me.but she didn't sign it.the thing.. is i got a new employer and already sign a contract for me,do i have to go out on the given date in her notice?is it the notice is effective?please help me.thanks a lot God Bless!!

lets say i dont meet her standard,not just me; in fact there were many helper had never finish they're contract with her,some terminated an some break..

@bycara-yes i know that i must return to PI.my question is not about returning back home.my question is; IS IT THE LETTER IS EFFECTIVE WITHOUT SIGN BY HER?

difficult to answer, but i would say that if she has paid you one month in lieu, then the letter is effective.


worst case, maybe consult the labour department?

cara, actually the person awaiting the new contract must leave HK, immigration cannot dictate where they go, they could go to a third country like China or Macau for example.

Using CAPS does not mean he/she is shouting? i think sometimes if people used CAPS they just want to emphasize their sentence..correct me if i'm wrong..

@beancurd-yes,still working here.its kind a complicated but i think,i should ask her or else i left hanging around.i also ask my current agency where i got the new employer,they said that if i informed wether she sign it or not..i gotta go out.aahh it give me headaches (--)
