Hi, I'm planning to start looking for a part-time helper to maybe come in once or twice a week to do simple cleaning and ironing. Where do I start looking? How do I go about it? And how much would the hourly rates be?

Sorry for the fairly basic questions, new to Hong Kong and the way we do it in Shanghai is that helpers get paid by the hour and they come in 2-3 times a week.

Go for Merry Maids - they are very pro - it's advertised on Asiaxpat - actually on this page on the left side as I am now typing this. My daughter always used them while her helper is on holiday. You can buy packages.
