Just a word of warning to anyone hiring PT help. I had arranged to hire a lady name Tya via this website, user name ajeng.
When she didn't show up on time this morning I sent her an unanswered text which I followed up with an unanswered phone call.
Leaving it at that, an unreliable person I was very surprised to have an Indian gentleman call me from a private number a few minutes later, verbally abusing me and threatening to come to my place, smash me and pulverise me into the dirt!!
Think I will use an agency from now on

Assuming she was under the contract and care of the Indian person, she would not have been legally permitted to work for you anyway.

If this Indian person is the employer, he may have strictly forbidden his helper to work for any body else, and he is in his right to do so,because it is illegal, and is obviously really annoyed. Many helpers advertise for part-time without their employers knowing and he could sack her for doing this and breaking his trust, and if he reports this to Imm she could even be deported.
Although she is totally in the wrong, advertising for part-time work I hope she doesn't suffer due to his violent temper, he sounds like a control freak.
I would not phone that number again, and hope he doesn't find out your address.
Use the legal part-time helpers as Ed suggests , they are insured to work in your home.

Or she could have preplanned to annoy the Indian man by posting his personal number in the PT employment secction... Any possible reason behind it with the most obvious -- some sort of revenge through causing annoyance.

BTW, similar experience, now I only hire legal Part Time (one's that have a right to work here in Hong Kong). The others that are employer sponsored are unreliable as they use their "Employer" (the one who signed their employment contract) as an excuse for not showing up, showing up late, anything. They also will steal as you have no hold on them. Rule: Always copy their Hong Kong ID card. Second, don't tempt them, put valuables or what you consider valuable away, they will nick from spoons, toilet paper, anything, so just put temptation away and monitor regularly. NEVER ask about their personal problems (opens the gate for all sorts of plea for money).
